Meet Karly Wannos, Esq.
Karly A. Wannos is an employment lawyer and the founder of The Wannos Law Firm. Ms. Wannos focuses on representing employees and employers at the administrative and trial levels in all aspects of employment litigation, including lawsuits alleging discrimination, harassment and retaliation in violation of federal, state and local laws. She also regularly defends employers in equal pay claims, workers’ compensation retaliation, whistleblower, and wrongful termination matters. Additionally, Ms. Wannos has extensive experience in minimum wage and overtime claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Ms. Wannos also partners with employers to address day-to-day issues concerning compensation and benefits, human resource policies and procedures, employee hiring, discipline and discharge, compliance, risk management, internal investigations, governmental investigations and audits, wage and hour compliance. Ms. Wannos also prepares, reviews, and updates Employee Handbooks and other employment policies, as well as drafts employment contracts, separation agreements, and releases.
Ms. Wannos also provides consulting services on the prevention of employment lawsuits. Ms. Wannos provides on-demand training for human resources, managers, and employees on the prevention of harassment, discrimination and retaliation in the workplace through her consulting company, Karly Wannos, LLC.
